Marine Heritage Festival
2026 marks the 48th Annual Canal Days Marine Heritage Festival. Presented by GIO Rail, this four-day celebration takes over Port Colborne every Civic Holiday long weekend, drawing 60,000 to 70,000 visitors to the southern end of the Welland Canal.
The festival spreads across the community: the Empire Sandy tall ship offers cruises, sunset sails and lock transits along Historic West Street, H.H. Knoll Lakeview Park hosts the free concert series, and there's a classic car show, kids' zone, midway, marine heritage displays and fireworks.

Niagara's South Coast stands with all Indigenous peoples, past and present, in promoting the wise stewardship of the lands on which we live.
