Marshville Heritage Festival

Wainfleet

The Marshville Heritage Festival in Wainfleet is an annual Labour Day weekend event that brings the past to life through the history and traditions of 19th-century rural Ontario. Held at Marshville Heritage Village, the festival features restored heritage buildings, historical demonstrations, traditional crafts, artisans, food vendors, and activities highlighting pioneer skills such as blacksmithing, sawmilling, and early farming practices. Established in 1988, the festival continues to showcase Wainfleet’s agricultural and community heritage while offering visitors an opportunity to experience local history in an interactive setting.
